The CCHS STEM program is honored to be one of only six high schools across the state to be recognized as a Model STEM School of Distinction.  The STEM Schools of Distinction program was developed to identify and recognize exemplary STEM schools and STEM programs. The Central Cabarrus STEM program exemplifies outstanding leadership and learning, which empowers keen creative thinking, reasoning and teamwork which we believe are the underpinnings of 21st century skills .This "Model Level" of achievement is gained by going even further by systemically interweaving science, technology, engineering and mathematics into complementary coursework in the arts, career and technical education, English language arts, healthful living and world history.
