Upper Left:   Scales of Justice in green placed on background of gold, represents the democratic form of justice

Upper Right:   Gold block inlayed letters "C" symbolize the athletic facet of the school program

Lower Left:   Gold scroll placed on forest green background with the date 1966 is symbolic of scholastic achievement and founding date of Central Cabarrus High School

Lower Right:   Gold planet Saturn on background of gold symbolizes the space age and our modern planetarium

Horizontal Division:   Three interlocked open books represent the three school communities joined together for a progressive educational effort

Vertical Division:  The wavy vertical division is symbolic of Meadow Creek where the discovery of gold emanated the development of Cabarrus County

Crest:  In natural coloring, a Viking, our school mascot
